First Moore Family Post

Well, this is the first official post to The Moore Family Blog.  I am not sure how good I am going to be about updating, but I am going to try my best.

We had our 26 week appointment today and everything with Baby Moore is right on track.  The baby weighs about 2 pounds right now.  Gosh, I feel like this pregnancy has just flown by.  I know October will be here before we know it!

We are also so excited because our nursery furniture is getting delivered tomorrow.  Thanks to Grandma Joan, I think the baby is going to have the cutest nursery ever!  She painted the room yesterday and got the drapes hung.  I will post pictures as soon as soon as we get everything set up.

Speaking of babies, our other babies (Rocket and Riley) celebrated their birthday's this weekend.  Rocket turned 3 and Riley turned 2.  We had a little birthday party and their friends Ally and Sage came over.  I made homemade dog cupcakes for the 1st time and they were a hit and super easy to make!  I thought I would share the recipe that I used with you guys.

Peanut Butter Doggie Cup Cakes

1 cup white or whole wheat flour 
1 tsp baking soda 
1/4 cup peanut butter 
1/4 cup vegetable oil 
1 cup shredded carrots 
1 tsp vanilla 
1/3 cup honey 
1 egg

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F

Mix together flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Frosting

Combine the following ingredients and blend thoroughly: 
12 ounces nonfat cream cheese (room temperature) 
3 tsp cinnamon 
1 tsp vanilla 
1 tsp honey
